So its been a great day so far! I woke up this morning to an amazing email in my inbox. Essere Magazine has published my retro shoot in a SIX page spread!! :) I couldn't be any happier.
Its been such a journey starting my business. Its taken years of planning, spending, learning, and so much more. I can finally say that I am starting to think that this business I have always dreamed of having may soon become a reality. I am so excited for the start to this amazing career I'm building and cannot wait to continue to produce more.
Thank you so much to all of my fans out there who have helped so much by spreading the word and work of The Ransom Gallery. It wouldn't be possible without all of you and I cannot express how gracious I am to all of you for your continued support and love. Thanks for simply appreciating my art!
You can purchase a copy of Essere Magazine here : http://www.magcloud.com/browse/issue/384447 .
Be sure you turn to page 58 to see The Ransom Gallery <3 Have an artistic rest of your day ~

So I feel horrible for not staying on top of this blog! I have been UBER busy trying to plan shoots, book work, work my "day job" and get ready for the summer. I am going to try and be a bit better about updating my fans as to what is brewing at The Ransom Gallery!
I had a retro shoot on April 7th. It went better than planned and I have some AMAZING shots as the result. I got to network with some awesome people and made some really great connections. I had my first behind the scenes video shot at this shoot and it was so beautiful; I cried after watching it. The retro shoot really got my wheels turing for more of my group shoots and now I cannot wait to show the world what else my mind has conjured up! Stay tuned...
I have been doing a blog and website makeover!! Please bare with me as I finish up these updates/ changes! Facebook continues to be a great way to view my most current work, but I am also working on getting a photobucket album account in order for those of you who do not have Facebook.
I will be offering a few discounted shoots come the end of summer/ fall so please stay tuned for updates on the blog, website, and FB page! :) I will try and keep you all as posted as possible.. we all love to save money and I love to help my clients out -- so keep an eye out for some GREAT deals soon!
I'm off to continue my editing, and updates, but please bare with me during this time. The Ransom Gallery is growing and I cannot thank you all enough for your continued support and love.
THANKS and much love sent your way! Have a creative rest of the day,
<3 K

Getting very excited that Adam is coming up for a few days to Virginia to spend some more time with me since his return to the states. Things have really started to roll on the photography and custom art design front, and I am getting even more excited to begin my masters degree this upcoming week. Everything has really started to look up in my life, and I can't even begin to explain how happy I am. Good things really do come to those who wait !
Any one interested in purchasing custom hair pieces, headbands, tutu's, paintings, jewelry, painted glasses, and other gifts, please contact me via email at: theransomgallery@yahoo.com. I can show samples of my designs and give you price quotes on specific commissioned work. Thanks to everyone for the continues support! It really does mean so much!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!! Today i am doing some much needed cleaning! I have been living out of boxes for almost a year now, and it has finally gotten to the point that I MUST move some things around! I have to say.. I have been down in the dumps a bit, but recently so many new things have happened, i have been newly rejuvenated and motivated to get the ball rolling on many projects that I have had in mind!
The best new news that has gotten me the most excited is that my boyfriend is returning home from Afghanistan soon. I have waited for this for a while!! SO stoked to see him! On top of that I have gotten to catch up with a bunch of old friends, the photography business is going amazing and starting to really grow, I got accepted to a masters program which I will start classes for in August, and the best news ever for the gallery : I will now be selling my artwork and handmade gifts at The Giving Tree in Linden! Things are looking up in the world of me, and I am so excited to grab the bull by the horns and get down to business!
Man... it really feels good to finally breathe a bit :)
